What's inside
Step-by-step lessons
Thirty-two lessons that build from standing still and the embrace to turns, musicality and the floor diagrams behind each figure.
The rhythm
A metronome that knows tango, milonga and waltz — with the strong beat where it belongs, and the orchestras that go with each tempo.
Dance diary
Write notes after a practice session or a milonga, keep the next milonga in your calendar, and look back on how your dancing has changed.
The same dancing, in both places
The iPhone app and this website are the same course. Create a free account and your finished lessons, practice minutes, diary entries and calendar follow you between them — write a note on the train home, and it is in the app before you are.
You do not have to make an account. Without one, everything you record is simply kept on the device you recorded it on.
About
Hi, I'm Lena. I've been dancing tango for twelve years — from my first stumbling class, where I spent the whole hour looking at my feet, to milongas that ran until sunrise in cities I had no other reason to visit.
What I kept wishing for in those early years was something simple to look at between classes: a reminder of what the step actually was, and a place to note what finally clicked. That's the app I built, and I'm proud to finally share it with you.
See you on the dance floor.
